Hallo liebes Awieco Team,

wann bringen sie Homeserver Versionen mit der neuen Ivy Bridge Generation? Mir geht es hauptsächlich darum einen guten Kompromiss zw. Leistung und Strom sparen zu finden.

Hallo Thorsten,

die ersten Ivy-Modelle werden im Juni lieferbar sein. Zunächst einmal nur Quad Cores mit 45W TDP. Der Dual Core mit 35W TDP kommt später im Laufe des Jahres. Für Sie interessant wird sicherlich der neue PowerServer i5.

Nein, er wird weiterhin eine 45W TDP CPU haben. Auch der Dual Core bleibt bei 35W wie auch die Sandy-Bridge Generation. Der i5 bietet deutlich mehr Leistung als der i3 bei etwas höherem Stromverbrauch. Wenn sie Leistung benötigen, wäre er sicher der bessere Kompromiss. Jedoch ist die Leitung vom i3 auch nicht zu beanstanden.
